Just a heads up that the Dungeons & Dragons mod Bloodbane and I are making is fairly close to being finished. Originally this was going to be an update of my old D&D mod, but it has ended up being an entirely new game and story with all new features.
It will still have the same title: Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Warduke.
The game now takes place in the World of Greyhawk, and focuses on the war between the good Kingdom of Furyondy and the evil Empire of Iuz.

We've used a world map quest system like Pierwolf's Knights and Dragons. We've also got a dialogue system which allows you to talk to NPC's in cities and towns.

The big news is that there is an inventory item & magic & shop system. You gain gold from killing monsters, completing quests etc, and then you can purchase items or spells in shops. You have an inventory with slots for items, and slots for spells. You can carry 9 different items (daggers, burning oil, mana potions etc), and also a whole plethora of spells. Some you buy, some you unlock or find on quests. The same goes for unique magic weapons like the flame and lightning sword, and crossbow.

Thanks to Pierwolf we now have many more playable characters: Paladin, Elf, Fighter, Dwarf, Mage, Priest and Thief.

Okay this should be official mod information

Story:

Playables: There are 7 playables:

Strongheart(Paladin), Tel'Erond(Elf), Jarred(Fighter), D'Raven(Mage), Greldon(Cleric), Dimsdale(Dwarf) and Shannon(Thief)

Each has his/her own stats, spells/skills and abilities

Supported players: 2

Features:

A. Main Quests and Side Quests
Just like in action RPG, all of them are activated by talking to certain NPCs and each sidequest has its own reward.

B. World Map
Wide world map to travel with plenty of locations to visit, red markers for main quests, green for sidequests and gray for cities or towns

C. Random Encounters
Random encounters scattered in world map giving unsafe but challenging travel. Each encounter picks a set of enemy to fight randomly from multiple possible enemy sets based on terrain

D. Multiple Spells, NPCs & Skills
Multiple spells from fireball and cure serious wounds to Turn Undead and Meteor Storm
Multiple NPC helpers from regular soldiers to Strongheart's friends
Multiple skills such as slingshot (thief only) & crossbows

E. Items, Golds & Inventory system
Multiple items to find in game from potions to elemental bottles
Multiple golds from small pouch to gold bars
6 slots of item inventory with 9 items limit to carry those

There are 2 kinds of items in this game: items which are stored in inventory to be used later and items which are consumed right after taking them

F. Various shops and vendors
Multiple shops such as spell shops, item shop, & wand shop

G. Stats, weapon and armor upgrade

Stat upgrade items are scattered & hidden in dungeons
Blacksmiths to upgrade weapon damage and armor defense

H. Multiple Game modes

1. Regular mode : basic mode which used almost everywhere
2. Travel mode : World map travel
3. City/town mode : Mode for travelling in towns and cities
4. Horseride mode : Ride horse while surviving from attacks from enemies
Unrevealed modes : Play the mod to find them

I. Multiple enemies, subbosses and bosses

Multiple regular enemies from goblins, gnolls, kobolds, orcs to demons, gargoyles and wraiths
Multiple subbosses and bosses with their special attacks, spells and traits
And there are dragons as well, hence the name of this mod ;)

Alright, those are the official stuffs. Currently, I am working on Hire Sarken Mercenaries feature.
Actually, I have made a video showing D'Raven's Wand feature but it's not yet uploaded. I have some videos I'd like to make before uploading all of these.

Stay tuned! Have a nice day
