I love that world map and random battle thing you guys have going on. This has to be one of my most anticipated games!

Alright, I made (couple days ago actually) sell item feature for this mod. Now, players don't have to worry about having full inventory ;). Well, some rare and special items can't be sold however.

Buy and Sell Items feature

Count Monte suggested increasing inventory slots, I have idea on how to do it but I'm thinking how to actually implement it.

Our spriter has made updated sprites for Battle Wagon which you can see in this video:

New Battle Wagon

While updating Wagon, I also updated its AI and this time Wagon forces player to retreat, you can see the screen is scrolled back and during this autoscrolling, player loses control of camera and are forced to follow the Wagon.
Players must destroy Wagon before it reaches start of stage otherwise....

nah, not telling ;)

Okay back to work Yuush

Me and Count Monte have discussed about this and we agreed to add darkness to our game.
Here is one dungeon with darkness:

It's really dark, players can walk in dark if they want but if would be hard without being able to see ;)

So what do we need?
Yes, torches to light up the area

Hmmm... I think I need to expand lighted area from this torch.

Anyways, a new shop has opened and it sells
lanterns and torches (burning oils too)

I could show shot with lantern but IMO it's best to use video to show how lantern works.

That's an awesome new feature! Does the light flicker if it is a torch, like real fire? That would be the icing on the cake.

Unfortunately no. We don't have animated light effect yet.
Anyone knows how to make such effect?

Alright, I have uploaded 2 new videos:

Torch and Lantern

As I posted before, torches and lantern can be used to light up dungeons. This video shows how each of them are used.
Light from torches has been widened also.

Stealing

Finally, this feature it's added, now Shannon can steal something from enemies by running to them.

Now, back to working on side quest!

Just small update, I tried using lantern in non dark dungeon and it was too bright so I decided to set some code to prevent lanterns from being lit in non dark dungeons. Torches however can still be used but no light effect will be casted there.

And related to that, to avoid lighting conflict, I also set some code to prevent torches to cast light if lantern has been used before.

No, Depending on enemy she hit, she might drop other items such as daggers, potions, hammers, & oils. If she tries to steal from thieves, she might get lockpick (she doesn't need this but other character may ;) )

[after uploading an image]

Phew, finally I managed to rip this guy:

For those who don't know, this is Lucifer from Shadow Force. Good thing, he doesn't have many sprites to rip from Hope my fake smile works again
Although this guy is actually a boss in that game, in this mod I set him as regular demon Yuush
