thanks so much for the feedback. i havent been able to figure out walls and platforms still but ive made a few changes based on your feedback.

also added Dr Hibbert as a NPC who follows and heals player.also added some squash animations for barts and krustys hammer moves

BTW What do you think i should add or change in tournament mode ? do you guys think Krusty is too hard to beat ? I want to do a VS mode (player vs player) but dont know how to make it right.

for family guy mode i am thinking of making enemies really weak and having stacks of enemies at once on screen, do you all think this is a good or bad idea ? also Peters special moves will be unlocked as levels progress (to help make this bonus mode more different)

any features you guys think i should add to story mode? (and suggestions on how to do it lol)

Ive updated my Simpsons demo. will be last majour update before i release game. really need some final feedback to help tweak the game.



Also need some help with
making custom menu
getting more sounds and music for simpsons (everytime i source and convert voice files it sounds too soft in Openbor)
and any other help i can get for sounds or anything.

Hi guys, ive been hard at work on this game. alot has been updated since my last post

heres a screenshot from one of the newly introduced FPS levels



Can someone please take a look behind the scenes at my FPS levels and give me some coding/scripting tips on how to make it better, id really appreciate it.

ive done 3 FPS levels so far but plan to add more

had to add shadow to crosshair as crosshair isnt on ground. I put crosshair on ground for level in space with no shadow and allows accurate aiming.

I just tried the FPS level. It does remind me of playing one FPS arcade game as a kid one time. Here are my thoughts about the FPS:

- I think you are not the first to make an FPS type, but there were a few that did it. One person did his Tekkaman mod but I think it won't work for later versions. It might work from one of the older versions (maybe version 2 point something, I'm not sure if it would work). One is a Tiny Toons Killer mod by MIKE MASTERS for shooting the TT charsI think. Maybe Bloodbane helped him with it I think. Can't remember if he did it or not.

- The scrolling right after shooting enemies reminds me of playing one FPS police arcade game which you should bad guys especially robbers except you have to make your "target" move on. Looks pretty sweet when you scroll forward and seeing enemies appear.

- The enemy fires with any projectile to go to the target (your character). Even with the explosion after shooting the barrel I guess. The projectile/bullet/shot hits directly at that target especially that Bender head goin' at ya. I have to run/walk away from it before it shoots me until it's gone.

Overall, you tried your best as you could. I like the idea you have for FPS.

thats odd, there is no water to draw so dont know why you get that error...

yeah if you could upload tiny toons killer and tekkaman mods that would be great, i dont know how would be best way to code those FPS levels. i have enemy projectiles as enemies set to chase but with limited lifespan and when they connect with a hit they suicide.

I have to apologize for not letting you know about the problem in Tekkaman mod I encountered, nsw25. Please, allow me to warn you that the Tekkaman mod I have doesn't work well for the later versions so I honestly dunno what older version works well for it. I think it was modded in a BOR-related engine maybe HOR, DarkBOR, or BOR. I think it was released long time ago when I wasn't a member of LavaLit or BorGen at that time. I only tested it by trying to fix the mod in some of them after I unpack it. Also, back in LavaLit, NickyP asked if the Tekkaman mod could be reuploaded to LavaLit but I warned him about the problem I encountered because when you start the game, you can only select in menu but character selecting is buggy so you can't select him and play the game. I have both one unfixed and one fixed version of mine but I'm not completely done fixing it. I can give you the semi-fixed version of mine if you like. Plus the Tiny Toons Killer.

About the Tiny Toons Killer, I think it's a shooting mod by MIKEMASTERS maybe with the help of Bloodbane I think. Maybe I can show you the previews I think. It was on LavaLit before.
